Andrea Chiaravalli born in 1963. Artist, painter, biker and ultratrail runner, they are all passions that merge into his lifestyle and into his profession of jewelry designer .In 1983 he started working in the jewelery workshop : it is here that the learned how to shape gold and silver, to experiment with the different working techniques and to follow the many stages of creation of an object from the project, to the construction of a model until it is finished and ready to be sold.
His jewels are a mixture of an almost 100 years old tradition of the company and the sensibility to modern trends. It always begins with a clear drawing that shows a careful attention to the materials.
When shaping jewels it is a very important to feel the solidness and weight of the gold. This sensation comes from the passion for "beauty": Andrea is also a painter and his last exhibition (March 2000) was dedicated to jewels. His paintings were very big with strong colours so that the drawings seemed almost abstract. Along with the paintings there were the jewels that inspired them.
Andrea signs also a collection of silverware. The pieces are thought as ornaments for modern living: simple lines with particular finishes. For example the hammering that gives the object a sculptural appearance, smooth to the touch, of the combination with other materials such as plexiglas, lapis lazuli or stones picked at the seaside. Many pieces of his collection were chosen at international design contests and shown in important exhibitions such as "Per abitare con l'arte" (Centro Internazionale di Brera, 1991) and "Oggetti per lo spazio abitativo" (Opos- Salone del Mobile 1991, 1992, 1993) and MISIAD (2012-2016).
